Who We Are
Jones-Tilley Roofing & Sheet Metal has been Corpus Christi’s trusted roofing contractor for four generations. As a licensed and insured, family-run company, we’ve built our reputation on craftsmanship, honest work, and treating every customer like a neighbor. From residential roof repair to full commercial roof replacement, our team handles each job with the same care and attention to detail.
Beyond roofing, we run a full custom sheet metal fabrication shop right here in Corpus Christi. Jones-Tilley Roofing & Sheet Metal Co. Inc can fabricate all of your specialty metals for your needs. No job is too small or too big; we’ll fix it right the first time. We proudly serve homeowners and businesses throughout Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend, including Portland, Robstown, Rockport, Aransas Pass, and Kingsville.
Our History
Our story began in 1928, when our grandfather, R.V. Jones, came to Corpus Christi from Dallas doing wood shingle roofing. Our father, M.V. Jones, grew up on the roofs and struck out on his own around 1960, adding hot roofing and composition work to the family trade. At one point he ran 40 wood shinglers alongside his composition and hot roofing crews. After he passed in 1990, we carried the business forward, and today we’re proud to be the fourth generation of the Jones family roofing Corpus Christi. Family owned and operated since 1928.

We install and repair every major roofing system, including composition shingles, wood shingles, tile, metal, and built-up and fiberglass systems with modified coverings. Specializing in residential and small commercial re-roofs and repairs, we’re also experts in chimney flashings, spark arrestors, and skylight installation. Our on-site fabrication shop produces custom sheet metal pieces for residential and commercial properties throughout the Coastal Bend. From custom gutter systems and downspouts to wall capping, edging, and modified flashing, we build each piece to spec. If you need something fabricated, there’s a good chance we can do it.

Beyond standard roofing, we fabricate and install chimney caps, gravel guards, pitch pans, scuppers, collector heads, spark arrestors, vent flashing, and skylight flashing.
